Overview
The EZ-Shipping configuration menu with EZ-NetTools enables you to set shipping and handling rules for your online orders. Shipping rules range from very easy for novices, to the widely customized methods which we reccommend only for advanced users.

Limits
The "Limits" portion of the EZ-Shipping Configuration menu includes a minimum shipping value, a maximum shipping value, and a threshold at which no shipping will be charged.

• Minimum - The value in this field is the minimum shipping which can be charged on any order. This value is not added to other shipping calculations, but is a bare minimum. If other calculations including shipping calculations and handling charges sum up to less than this value, the customer will be charged this minimum price for shipping. This minimum value is added to the purchase subtotal.
• Maximum - The maximum limit prohibits any order from accruing more shipping and handling charges than the price value listed in this field. Even if the handling charges and shipping calculations exceed the maximum shipping value, only this value will be charged as shipping and added to the purchase subtotal. Not entering a value into this field makes the maximum unlimited, thus shipping and handling will be based directly off of their respective calculation methods.
• Free Shipping - If the purchase subtotal before shipping exceeds this threshold, customers are given the option to choose free shipping. The option to select standard shipping still appears, so we reccommend you mention the differences there may be between free and standard shipping in your Shipping Policies page.

Handling

Use Regional Settings to ensure you are using units of weight consitent with your region.

*Note: UPS and FedEx only ships packages under 150 lbs or 68 kgs. USPS only ships packages under 70 lbs or 31 kgs.

Calculation Methods
EZ-Shipping Provides these methods for calculating shipping:

• No Charge - Customers are charged only the handling costs or minimum shipping amount.
• Basic - Shipping calculated by percent, weight, quantity, or basic threshold methods, etc.
• Advanced - Shipping by advanced sliding methods with customized titles.
• UPS Calculator - Uses the rates established by UPS.
