File Menu
The File Menu is the main navigational tool you will use in EZ-PageBuilder™. Using this menu, you can create, open, or save your EZ-PageBuilder™ pages. To use the file menu, click on the 'File:' text located on the left side of the toolbar. The menu will drop down and you will see the following options:

New: By selecting this option, EZ-PageBuilder™ will open a new page with the "Welcome…" message you first received when you opened EZ-PageBuilder™.

Open: Selecting ‘Open' will allow you to open an existing EZ-PageBuilder™ page. If you are exiting an existing page that has had changes made, you will be prompted to save the changes. Choose ‘Yes' or ‘No'. A message will then appear on your screen asking you to use the EZ-Browse to open a file. Your EZ-Browse should open up automatically. If it doesn't, click the ‘EZ-Browse' button to open it up. Use the EZ-Browse to find the page you would like to open. Select the file name and click ‘Open' to open the document.

Save: Using this function allows you to save the current page that is open. You normally would use this option if your current page already has a filename. If you do not, use the Save As feature. If your page does not have any Meta Tags, you will receive a warning message. It is a good idea to enter your Meta Tags right away so you don't forget later. To create your Meta Tags, click the ‘Edit Meta Tags' button. After you are finished creating your Meta Tags, you will need to save your page, as it did not save the first time.

Save As: Use this feature if you have not yet saved a page with a given filename, or if you want to re-save a page with another filename. If your page does have Meta Tags, the EZ-Browse will open. On the bottom gray bar in the Ez-Browse, you will be given a ‘File name' field with a ‘Save As' button to the right. Enter the filename you would like to call your page and click ‘Save As'.

Meta Tags: Select this option to create your Meta Tags which are used by search engines to help others find your web site on the internet. The Meta Tags are essential to having a successful web site because if your site cannot be found then business won't happen on that site. For more information on how to create your Meta Tags click on the Title above.

Click the ‘Ok' button once you are finished creating or editing your Meta Tags. If you do not want to add your Meta Tags now, click the ‘Cancel' button.

Page Options: The Page Options feature is an advanced users feature. Here, you can use the header and Footer fields to enter in HTML, Java, or other advanced ideas. You can also change the appearance of your sidebar and use frames on your page. For full instructions click on the Page Options Title.

Click the ‘Ok' button once you are finished creating or editing your Meta Tags. If you do not want to add your Meta Tags now, click the ‘Cancel' button.

Exit: Once you are finished using the EZ-PageBuilder™, select ‘Exit' to return to your Member Tools. If you did not make any changes since your last save, EZ-PageBuilder™ will automatically close. If you have made changes, PageBuilder will ask you if you want to save your changes. If your page does not have any Meta Tags, you will receive a warning message. It is a good idea to enter your Meta Tags right away so you don't forget later. To create your Meta Tags, click the ‘Edit Meta Tags' button. For instructions on how to create these, Click Here.
