INTRODUCTION
The Text - Simple block in EZ-PageBuilder has a new feature, scrolling text. This feature has been a common request for several reasons. First, this feature is a simple way to add animation to a web page. It is very common to see message scroll across the bottom marquees of web pages. Second, it is a way to call attention to a special message such as a special sale. You can also have a box of scrolling news.
The other reason for this new feature is for our EZ-Digisign product. We use many of our existing tools to create the pages that are used in EZ-Digisign. The scrolling marquee is a very useful feature for digital signs.
BASIC FEATURES
The scrolling features or marquee feature is only available on the simple text block. The configuration options that activate the scrolling text are found in the advanced section of the basic text block. The default setting it not to scroll. There are five configuration options.

CONCLUSION
The marquee, scrolling text feature is a simple and easy way to add a little sparkle to your web site. You can quickly draw attention to a special message. With a little creativity, you can give your site some flair. We are always impressed and amazed at the creative ways our customers use features of EZ-Nettools to create special affects on their web sites.
A word of caution. Be sure to use this feature in a way that is consistent with your web site design and audience. Sometimes a good thing can be over used. For example this page, with all of its animation, is a bit crazy. Then again, maybe your clientele is.
